Unpacking
Your new area rug will arrive tightly rolled inward to keep the pile intact and prevent damages. This may result in the rug ends and corners to curve upwards and not lay flat when first laid out. There are a few steps you can take to have your rug lay flat. One method is to place objects like books to weigh the curves down. The curves will be flattened gradually depending on the rug material.
Persistent Curved Ends, Folds, and Creases
Still experiencing curved ends and corners after weighing them down? Not to worry! We have two more methods that can’t fails. The simplest method is to lay the rug upside down and allow the curves to be removed gradually. For more persistent curves, folds, and creases, simply reverse roll your rug from the upside-down position and let it rest for an hour. If ends are still curling, repeat the process as needed. Enjoy your new rug!
