Rug pad application

1. Clean the Floor

Before you place the rug pad down, make sure the floor is clean and dry. Dust, dirt, or moisture can reduce the effectiveness of the non-slip pad.

2. Unroll the Rug Pad

Lay out the non-slip rug pad where you want your rug to go. Unroll it fully and give it a few minutes to flatten out, especially if it’s been rolled up for a while. If the pad has any folds, gently smooth them out.

3. Trim the Pad (if necessary)

If your rug pad is larger than your rug, use a pair of scissors to trim it to the size of your rug. Leave about an inch of space around the edges of your rug so the pad isn’t visible.

4. Place the Rug Pad

Position the non-slip rug pad where you want your rug to sit. Make sure it's aligned properly and that there’s a small gap around the edges (1–2 inches) so the pad isn’t sticking out.

5. Position Your Rug

Once the pad is in place, carefully lay your rug on top of it. Press down on the rug to make sure it’s sitting flat on the pad and that it’s firmly in place.

And that’s it! Your rug should now stay in place, and you’ll get extra cushion and protection for your floor. Let us know if you need more tips!
